Breathwork is a simple, yet profound, breathing practice. It’s simplicity makes it an accessible and powerful practice for everyone. The benefits of breathwork are many. At a bare minimum, it provides immediate relief of daily stress; however, it has the potential to heal at all levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Breathwork gracefully supports the release of unexpressed emotions, such as pain, grief and anger. It has a liberating cathartic effect, which quickly transforms unhealthy patterns in our lives. As these repressed emotions, feelings and trauma are released, we feel a deeper sense of calmness. Because this practice integrates the various parts of our being, it is a perfect complement to meditation, therapy and other healing methods. Although a single session can change our life, a regular and sustained practice over a period of time will establish a profound sense of connectedness, of peace and joy.
